Initiation of the dream - in 1964 with Prabodh Dal – a two hour activity for intelligent students.

11th Board exams cleared by first batch in 1972. Incumbent Director Hon. Dr. Girishrao S. Bapat belongs to the third batch. ( 2nd and 3rd batches amalgamated which appeared for and cleared the Board exams in 1973)
Initiation in Studenthood- Vidyavrat Samskara started -1973
Project Methodology introduced for teaching - 1974
Start of Girls school – 1975. First batch cleared the 10th Board exams in 1981.
Group-work activities became a part of the curriculum - 1975
Affiliation to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) – Received permanent recognition as affiliate school in 1976.
A structural change – The new pattern of 10 + 2 implemented. Batches of 10th board and 11th board appeared simultaneously for Board exam in 1977.
Combined management of both the schools – Integration of Management of boys & girls school into a single entity. Earlier only a few technicalities managed together
Members – 1880 students passed out from the school during the period 1969 to 2010. Number of students studying in school around 450 to 470 since 1984. Each class consisted of about 40 students. Two divisions of each class – 1 of boys and other of girls. Total 12 classes. Teaching staff – Full time teaching staff about 18 to 20 and part time staff around 15 to 18. The staff of about 50 members consisted of teaching staff, office staff, library staff and others.
1980 – Aarambh Mahavidyalaya – Junior College started
Skills Enhancement Programme ( Scholarship) for 7th began in 1989
Commencement of Abhivyakti- Expression Skills Training -1989
Multi-text teaching initiated -1989
1994- Self Study skills introduced
2007- Agrani Yojana – Leadership Development Module
2010- Mastery Learning for English and Mathematics from 5th -8th stds.
Library consisting of about 40 thousand books.
Financial summary – Budget 2009-2010 consisted of about Rs. 81 Lakh 50% of school expenditure met by school fees received while remaining 50% covered by the funds received from Jnana Prabodhini.
